Review : Peter Thomas Roth Rose Cucumber Gel Mask

mood: random
song: suki kirai (Rin&Ren)

I  know that a lot of you beauty junkies have already tried this Cucumber Gel Mask from Peter Thomas Roth. So this is one of the mask in the MASK-A-HOLIC KIT set. To be honest, I have some mixed opinions about this one. It pretty gave the same effect as the Rose Stem Cell Mask but just a little less effective on me.

So, this mask claimed to be an "extreme detoxifying hydrator" and the gel helps to soothe, hydrate and detoxify dry, irritated skin with botanical extracts of cucumber, papaya, chamomile, pineapple, orange, lemon and etc...
To me that is a pretty big statement that was claimed by them. So, as usual.. I gave it a try.
AND this is how i feel..
It does hydrate yes as it feels pretty refreshing and soothing. Besides, it did sinks in fast leaving a cooling feeling.

Apparently, this mask is created for treating under eye puffiness and it kinda work on me after a few applications, I noticed that my eye bags and dark circles got a little lighten. And the good news is, you can sleep in this mask by applying a thin layer on and rinse it off the next morning.

How to use: After cleansing, take a generous amount of masque and apply to face and allow it to remain on for 10 minutes before washing off

The Scent
: not heavily scent

The Texture: Water based gel like mask.

Repurchasing: No. A little too overpriced

PROS
• Refreshing and soothing
• Sinks in fast
• Can use as sleeping mask

CONS
• Overpriced

Overview
Honestly, I felt that this mask is seriously overpriced for what it does. Because, you can fairly get other hydrating mask in the market with a lower price compared to this one as it costs RM247 for 150g. One of the reason I actually bought the entire set was partially because of this mask but sadly it is the most disappointing one.
