Review: Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

mood: tired
song: best in me

I have to confess that I can't resist not entering Sephora whenever they have Sales going on. So during the recent Sales in Sephora, I've spotted the Peter Thomas Roth's MASK-A-HOLIC KIT.
So my buying impulse has causes me to purchase this item.

So, today I am going to try the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask.
My first impression was that it smelt good enough to eat as it has the cinnamon and pumpkin scent. Smelt like some Pumpkin Cinnamon Jam though. Besides, it also reminds me of Starbucks's Pumpkin Spice Latte!

According to the label, this mask is a natural enzyme that will gently digest dead surface skin cells as it contains Alpha Hydoxy Acid and Aluminum Oxide Crystals. These two ingredients are suppose to peels away dull surface cells revealing a fresh, youthful radiance and exfoliates to polish skin meanwhile rejuvenating the appearance of a lackluster complexion. *that's what it says on the label*

Then I slathered on a dollop of the "orange jam" and slowly massage it on my face as instructed.
It gaves me a tingling burning sensation when I first apply them. After the first minute it subsided and I left it sitting on my face for another 5 minutes before rinsing it off.

After rinsing it off, my skin had a little bit of redness but eventually it subsided after a few minutes.
Leaving my skin feeling soft and refreshed. Honestly, my skin did really felt great.

All in all, this was a great mask but it might not be the one for those with sensitive skin but it is worth a try.
